Firmware 2.40 confirmed for June 18th?

Dutch website PlayStation Only has been told that Firmware 2.40 is 100% confirmed for a release on June 18th. The previous reported date of June 10th is incorrect, our source told us. Only In-game XMB has been confirmed so far. However, it´s likely that there will also be Trophy support in it.

first of all i can reply, but i am at work (yes on a sunday it sucks i know) and i was out on site.

so the reason i reported your comment as spam is simple, first i read your comment with an unbiased one as i havnt seen you try and make flame wars before and as i read your comment i simply thought wow this guy is really trying to get a reaction from an Xbot.

i own both systems and appreciate both, so the whole "dont act like an angel" bit made me laugh, im not acting like an angel i was just trying to make the article stay on subject as i have seen many articles in the past turn into a flame war.

don't feel so bad about the bubble lost. I lost 2 under another article with XMB for the PS3 when I was replying to an obvious troll. All I talked about is not seeing that big a difference between the two systems for what they offer us online. I wasn't negative nor was I praising one system over the other and I ended up losing 2 bubbles and my response was deleted.

There wasn't one thing I said wrong. I followed the guidelines for the gamer zone to the letter. Obviously one of the moderators didn't like what I had to say because of their own bias.

XBM is the only option I want that is missing from PSN (for me) and you can't beat it for the price "free".

this is one thing that really annoys me about sony: their stupid pr machine. sony is good at mananging hype but are dreadful at managing expectations.. i think sony should sort out their pr machine. probably the worst in the industry.

It would have to come before MGS4 so either its coming this week or June 11 or 12 when MGS4 launches. If not, well problably still months away...
