The Twenty Most Breathtaking Sights You’ll Ever See in Skyrim

GamerConnect: We’ve put together a tidy little feature to help waste a bit of time when you step away from the game for that much needed break. A feature that we’re calling “The Twenty Most Breathtaking Sights You’ll Ever See in Skyrim,” you know, where we... you guessed it, show our favourite 20 most beautifully picturesque and serene environments from around Skyrim.

Obviously we were all out of unique feature names at this point, probably in awe of what was transpiring on our screens. Trust us though folks, these are the 20 of the most beautiful looking scenes from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

It has 360 printed in the corner of each shot so doubt it. ground textures are too low for PC anyway

Yeah because these shots were taking from Xbox360Achivements.org. This is nothing more than a copy/paste of their article in a forum post.

I remember coming out of the dungeon in Oblivion and looking around thinking wow!I am pretty sure I will have the same reaction to this game too.

I haven't bought it yet due to time constraints, when holidays come around I am gonna waste a lot of my life on this...

Doubt it, these shots are due to art an taken at the best time they could be. The best comment I could give when coming out of the first cave was "wow, it looks better than Oblivion". My Goty though

It does have it's breathtaking moments but they are random areas on the map. Temples, Aura's and stuff. Dragon shouts are cool looking

potedude4555d ago

Still gonna waste as much of my life on this as possible though...

pucpop4555d ago

Pam Grier topless? If no, then its hardly breathtaking.

I'm Replaying Skyrim (again), and So Should You

Replaying Skyrim after 13 years is a reminder of the progress made in western RPGs over the last decade, but also what's been lost.

anast28d ago

I tried, but it's a poorly made game that insults its customers.

lucian22928d ago

nah, only mods make it decent, and even then it's bad, and this is after i modded for at least 3 years

Nittdarko28d ago

Funnily enough, I'm about to play it for the first time in VR with 1000 mods to make the game playable, as is the Bethesda way

The 7 Best Western RPGs: Immersive Adventures

RPGs are often huge, sprawling endeavours. With limited playtime, we have to choose wisely, so here's the best western RPGs available today.

"I started playing games yesterday" the List... Meh!

How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera

And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave28d ago (Edited 28d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
