Easy Interactive has today announced that the award-winning indie hit, Max and the Magic Marker, is coming to Nintendo DS for Holiday 2011. The DS version of Max and the Magic Marker recreates all the action of the WiiWare and PC indie hit, and now brings the power of the all-important magic marker under control of the DS stylus.

Why would they want to stop making money? Smaller devs and pubs can make DS games easier than 3DS, so why would Nintendo turn their backs on royalties?

IGN - Max & the Magic Marker Review

IGN - In Max & the Magic Marker, the titular Max must work his way through a series of side-scrolling stages while using his trusty orange-colored magic marker to help him on his quest. As various iterations of the game have been released on WiiWare, PC and iOS, the formula for the game hasn't changed; Max's magic marker can draw platforms, ramps and other basic items to assist him.
