Well, it is based off of KotOR after all.. It was turn based, so you can't really expect a huge change there. I have somewhat of an interest in trying this out since I loved Knights of the Old Republic, but at the same time, I know it's not going to be anywhere near the same thing.

But yes, MMOs do need to up their game.. Just about every single one uses the same exact style of combat, and almost none of them even try to make it fun. It's been the same way since the very first one. As weird as it sounds, though, that is exactly why people play them. They get hooked on the extreme simplicity, and repetitiveness.

It is time for a change, though. They need to get out of the 90's and actually start making them into real games.
