Details of Black Ops patch 1.04 are announced

On the official forums of Call of Duty: Black Ops JD_2020 has announced the official details of patch 1.04. He also announced that they are resetting all the cheaters, glitchers and boosters so the game is more fair.

Only players without balls would rely on hard line pro to give higher kill steak calls. I'm sick of seeing chopper gunners every 2 minutes in this game.

You know how many times i have been kicked from my own party :/, and not only that, when I try to join back its full so i cant even join the server + if it does join sometimes it changes me from server because its looking for better one and i like................... seriously.......the game hates when people play with friends or something ?

My biggest problem is getting stuck on loading screens. Everything will be going fine and once the match loads it will say waiting for other players at the bottom of the screen and it will just stay like that until I turn off my PS3. My PS3 takes forever to shut down when that happens.

Broken??? Thats a majority of the major problems. The only thing i see that will piss me off now is the AK74U but thats a minor balancing issure and only needs a decrease in accuracy and damage.... So if that is there is only one overpowered weapon i would consider this game no where near as "broken" as MW2....

Am I the only one who thinks the chopper gunner is more over powered than the nuke in MW2?

When you think about it, most of the time you're getting fragged by it because of the way it moves around the circumference of every map obliterating everyone who spawns or tries to shoot it down immediately. Honestly its so much worst than the nuke because it can be a game ender resulting in BAD K/D for yourself whereas nuke is quick and deadly.

I also find it VERY suspicious that the chopper gunner killstreak being used in the "nuke" town map, has some sort of FML to the whole atmosphere ... like a homage to a previous FML.

Treyarch remember to patch that one.

@YouNoob yes thats why infinity ward didn't fix anything in mw2 after the 1st 2 weeks and lets everything else build up until it was broken -_-

You cant honestly say that yet lol. Black Ops has been out less than a month and already has a book on how many issues were addressed, if they keep this support around comes Jan to April then fine.

Also Activision only said that in order to sell BO, it wasnt exactly true. In reality a lot of devs put their hands in a lot of games, doesnt mean they helped build anything or support it. If Treyarch did do a lot, then why are their so many BO issues and why didnt they just fix MW2 and let IW gets all the blame?

treyarch are atleast fixing gamebreaking issues..

and actually, its know that they helped infinity ward, due to the whole issue between activision and infinity ward, activsion said they helped, josh olin's talked about it.. and its pretty known about the whole act/IW issues.. so i think it's a fair opinion i have :)

when you save and quit it doesn't save your progress. so if you want the trophy or achievement for completing the first 3 levels on veteran, you will have to play them on one play through and not save and exit.

only a problem for some people though.

What do you mean it's lame if you use this? It's a glitch that PREVENTS you from getting the veteran achievements, not AIDS you in it. It pisses me off that they didn't fix it, I payed through the entire campaign on veteran on launch night and didn't get anything for it.

To be honest...First i was really excited about this, But after seeing how much LOVE, Treyarch/Activision gave the Ps3 users with Call of Duty: Black Ops, I don't care anymore. I have the game and i'm gonna sell it as soon as Killzone 3 comes out. I don't care anymore About Activision/Treyarch/Inifinity Ward. The only shooters i'm gonna play are Killzone 3, Socom 4, Resistance 3 and Gears of War 3 when it comes out. Seriously, if you guys wanna keep giving Actvision money while they don't care about the ps3, fine. When i said i will never buy an Activision game ever again...I was Serious.

thank god for the spawn point fixes that is by far the biggest problem with this game.

also to all the people continually ripping on treyarch stop blaming hardworking devs like treyarch just cause their publishers are a holes. i always hear "infinity ward was so much better" BS! MW2 is one of the most broken and unbalanced games ever and it STILL is because infinity ward refuses to fix it. Treyarch takes a hard stance on glitching and boosting something IW never gave a rats ass about. i'm not saying either studio is better for worse then the other but history shows that Treyarch definitely is more committed to the online community true Black ops doesn't look as good as it 360 couterpart but that gaps isn't that bad and people are really exageratting the gap just like will fallout 3.

one last thing a lot of people think a publisher and their developer work really intimately not true a publisher like activison mainly just fund developers as an investment and mainly handle the bussiness aspect of the game. i always here crap like "oh ms paid activison to make the ps3 version inferior" bs treyarch makes all the decision about the content created for their game the only thing activion might control is market which might come in the form of timed exclusive content for whoever pays more for it. a lot of people hate activison which i understand and i hate them as much as anyone but don't lump together with their devs

All this talk about the graphics get on my nerves. Sure, they aren't the greatest, but they are certainly applicable from what I've played of Black Ops. Treyarch has gameplay over graphics. Isn't that what matters the most?

Yeah, but MW2 looks cleaner and has way more physics-enabled objects that fly around, just like on the skyscraper level. Black Ops just looks grainy or something, and the animations seem worse.

those who still play are patient players, I couldn't take it anymore. The game when it worked was the most fun since MW1 but when it didn't, which was most of the time, it was frustrating and I would just rage out of games. So i traded it in for $39 and few other games that I knew I would never touch again and just got Assassin's Creed: Botherhood. I don't understand why people don't look for games that aren't broken. Support trash and you'll get trash, support good games and more good games will come your way. Uncharted 2 to me had a way better MP experience then Black Ops and for those who played both like myself you'll see that Black Ops borrowed a lot from UC2's MP.
