Marathon was considered to be the Macintosh's answer to Doom, and has inspired quite a cult following. Those of you familiar with Halo's history may know a little bit about Marathon, often considered to be Halo's precursor (and, indeed, created by Bungie Studios before they were bought by Microsoft.) There are many parallels and references to the Marathon universe and storyline throughout the Halo series, and luckily, we're able to play them all for free!
