TNS: Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny 2 is an excellent remaster with many QoL features and new additions, but it still carries that old-school jank.
Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny is a faithful but flawed remaster that polishes a PS2 cult classic without fixing its dated design.
TSA writes: A welcome remaster of a PS2 classic, Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny helped to define modern action games, but is it worth going back?
Sounds like the reviewer was expecting a more modern game, and disliked the game for what it wasn't instead of what it was. Not a great way to review things tbh.
OK let me say this
Any gamer who didn't play this game believe me you should play it now
Onimusha 1 , 2 , 3 these games must play by any gamer
The reviewer was basically complaining that nothing had changed gameplay wise, whining about how he’s never been a fan of fixed camera angles, and comparing the combat system to modern action games.
He completely missed the point, the remaster was never meant to be changed in any way.
Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny has the visual aesthetics of the early Resident Evil games, but puts them in a medieval Japanese setting.
I loved this series. Looking forward to this.
