That this game will sell very well !! Surprised by the demo and gameplay. Didn’t reinvent the wheel but very good to play

Fonsecap450d ago

I agree that some of the surface textures could use an upgrade in quality...

Psychonaut85450d ago

On consoles at least, can we just put Unreal Engine 5 on hold til next gen, and just get more polished UE4 games like this and Lies of P? Cuz the UE5 games on console so far run like drunken potatoes. I personally can do without Nanite and such for the time being if it’s at the cost of performance. And I doubt I’m alone in that sentiment. People have been asking for better performance for 10 years, and there’s always gunna be some new graphical tech that eats up processing power. Pump the brakes, get the performance standard to 60, or hell at least an evenly pace 40 for those who can use it. Then start adding graphical features to the extent they don’t tank performance.

Enjoy your crossgen games.

Some of us bough a next gen console for a reason.

Einhander1972449d ago

Three times the graphics modes as Hellblade and three times a much gameplay too.

MrBaskerville449d ago

A little dissapointed by the demo. It seems goof, but was hoping for something more in the vein of DMC, but it's more of a souls like. Feels like a game where you should be able to use longer combos. Hope the skilltree fixes this in a satisfying way.

The 3060 RTX Phoenix is still $430.

edureboucas10d ago

Yes, components are expensive.

anast9d ago

Yes, they are. It's probably why their PC runs this game so well...

edureboucas10d ago

Yes it is, do you want me to send you my dxdiag, sir?

DeityGamingPower7d ago

The RTX 3060 released in 2021. Go back to middle school. What a dumb article.

jznrpg2d ago

You go to the Terrance Howard school of math I see

anast9d ago

Exactly, the only thing 9 years old on that set up is probably the case.

edureboucas1d 8h ago

Errr... I beg to differ. Everything but the GPU is 9 years old.

anast8h ago(Edited 8h ago)

I still don't understand why people can't make a plain statement. You don't know when the graphics card released. How are people supposed to trust the information?

Not shocking it was announce as a multiplatform game before Sony threw money at them.

I thankful for PearlAbyss(korean dev) rejected sony cash for CrimsonDesert, so everyone can enjoy their game.

neutralgamer199212d ago

They rejected their money so much yet they allowed them to publish the game on steam?

Please it's the year 2025 enjoy gaming without becoming attached to a box

‘PS5’s Stellar Blade is reportedly coming to Nintendo Switch 2’

And Xbox?

NotoriousWhiz12d ago (Edited 12d ago )

Xbox maybe 2 or 3 years after they release on Switch 2 when they can collect some game pass money cause no one on Xbox will be buying it. We see what happened with FF16.

CrashMania12d ago

They helped a lot with development to shape the game it became, it's not your typical MS throw money at the wall and hope it sticks type of deal that usually doesn't work out.

The fact it isn't being considered for Xbox should tell you all you need to know.

Elda12d ago

It's a Shift Up game so they can put it wherever they want once the PS5 exclusivity is up.

darthv7212d ago

....like xbox, you know since it was first announced that way.

Elda12d ago

Sony spent money & got first dibs, maybe XB should have leaped first or is it possible that had no interest.

CantThinkOfAUsername12d ago

PlayStation is still the publisher of the game on PC.

ABizzel112d ago

Makes sense, a Nintendo release will help with sales in JP and at worse add a few hundred thousand sales globally.

720p@60fps medium-low upscaled to 1440p DLSS docked
&
540p@60fps medium-low upscaled to 1080p DLSS handheld

Should be possible without any issues.

Notsofast12d ago

probably get the game to 5-6 million copies sold if its on the switch 2

andy8512d ago

Given the steam version is already in the millions the switch 2 version should easily do that

Profchaos12d ago

Dlss is magic after playing street fighter 6 on switch 2 it's impressive

fsfsxii11d ago

Impressive input lag you mean

Profchaos11d ago (Edited 11d ago )

@fsfsxli they have approved sf6 on switch 2 for competitions if the input lag was actually a problem they would not have approved it

Hereandthere12d ago

Good, another 3rd party game sony paid to keep xbox players from playing. Lets hope the xbox port is not far off after switch.

Scissorman12d ago (Edited 12d ago )

this partnership was so much more than sony paying to keep xbox players from playing it:

https://twistedvoxel.com/st...

the game wouldn't have become what it is today without sony's support.

darthv7212d ago

you know... we have been told that before, plenty of times. That excuse does not work anymore.

BLow12d ago (Edited 12d ago )

Don't worry the delusion is real with these fanboys. Not one person is this comment section mentioned that Tencent bought a 20% stake in Shift Up. Where's the outrage in that? Sony pays for and funds a game to be exclusive and to help develop. Bring out the pitch forks.

MS buys 2 publishers, one of them being the biggest in the industry, crickets. The math ain't mathin. Shift Up is a 3rd party company and they can do what they want. It's always been that way. I have no sympathy for the richest company in the world.

No disagrees from me. There is no point lol.

tay870111d ago (Edited 11d ago )

After the pathetic sales of FF16 on xbox, shift up probably isnt all that keen on making a port for xbox.
