TheGamer's George Foster says: "There’s no feeling worse in the world than seeing the character you main in a game get nerfed. Being kicked in the nuts? Nope. Childbirth? Please. Student loans? Close, but still not quite there. None of them quite live up to knowing that something you’ve learned in and out has just been given a hefty downgrade.
Few know that awful feeling better than Support Ash players, and I should know because I’m one of the very few of them out there. Evil Dead: The Game has four different versions of legendary protagonist Ash Williams to play as, each based on a different era of the franchise. You’ve got the Leader variant from Ash vs. Evil Dead, the warrior version from Army of Darkness, a gun-focused Evil Dead 2 Ash, and finally the bowl-cutted man who started it all, Ash from the first Evil Dead who acts as a Support class - and also the focus of this here article you’re reading."
The Loadout spoke exclusively to key members of the Evil Dead The Game development team about bringing this horror game to PS5, Xbox, and PC and the future.
If you're wondering where one of the most iconic characters from Evil Dead The Game came from, the Flute Boi, we spoke to music director Steve Moltiz about it.

I wish this game had a single player mode and included a continued story of when ash got stuck in the future (the original ending of army of darkness.)
Ok you can't just call a game Game of the Year Edition because it has all the DLC, which I'm assuming is what this is.
Huge fan of the movies and Bruce Campbell, and I even like the series, but they dropped the ball on this one by making it a live service. I don't think it even got 1 GOTY vote.
I love Evil dead its my favourite horror franchise, they needed to make this a single player game with a single player campaign, making it MP like this is just such a let down.
