Those were the suede ones like the burgundy ones with the fat shoe laces. If you were really nice you had the checker board laces done up. A pair of Lee or Guess jeans a BVD nylon T-shirt. Rocking some Gazelles and Kangol cap preferable the beaver fur.

Roc Steady Crew wanted to wear Adidas but was told must wear Pumas because they are funding the movie . Awesome time to be a teenager in the early 80's
. Cool thing about being in your 50s is we were there for the beginning of HIP HOP and Video games.
