it's games like this where I feel left out being a console only gamer. Need to get a gaming rig going

Lots of new stuff coming soon

arkard1298d ago

It will come to consoles and usually with bugs and balancing issues worked out.

Games like this and Xcom are why I bought a PC. Could not imagine to try out Original Sin 2 on Playstation. Xcom 2 was somewhat manageable, though, but the visuals/performance and lack of official mods and stuff just made it inferior. I'm buying games again on PC to experience these masterpieces at their best! Stuff like FFIX AI projects also keep me on PC, but I'll still support Switch and PS5 because of the must have exclusives.

They're hinting a PS5 and Xboxseries X release. I think Stadia got some timed exclusive going on

This will likely go to console just like Divinity I & II. I don't see why it wouldn't. Same controls. But, it will only be PS5/XSX if it does.

It's pretty good, but obviously buggy so far. I hope they change some things to better match actual 5e rules, though. For example: in BG3, you can only dual wield two light weapons, in 5e you only have to wield a light weapon in the off-hand. Without this, dual wield, which is already inferior in 5e, will be even more so compared to 2h weapons.

Ooh definitely cause they said the current gens couldn't handle the game. The bugs ive seen and honestly not surprised. Divinity 1 and 2 had their share so hopefully whatever bugs are in this game will be sorted before the PS5 and XboxseriesX version

Even Though Larian Is Done With Baldur's Gate 3, I Believe The Game Deserves DLC

Danish from eXputer: "DLC for Baldur's Gate 3 could resolve some unanswered questions and offer more sought-after content for what is otherwise one of the greatest RPGs in recent memory."

Leeroyw2d ago

They made their point on DLC. Respect that.

See this is what damn near killed gaming in the first place, DLC! I respect a good game that’s already heavily content driven. Whatever happened to having a good game, playing it from start to finish, and then enjoying it for what it was and waiting for a sequel with a whole new outlook? I hate the fact that there are people out there willing to get nickeled and dimed by developers then complain about how we get pelted with unnecessary dlc.

I feel more devs need to do what they are doing. Tbh, I couldn’t care less if dlc was gone completely. I could go as far as saying dlc ruins game preservation as well. Not going to go too deep into that but basically Baldur’s Gate devs gets my thumb of approval.

Honestly, I'd like to see their take on a more science-fiction or space-based setting. But frankly it will be worth paying attention to anything they do.
