Why don't we let the developer to decide? Last time I checked, they created a masterpiece without any of our input. If tlou was released without MP, I am sure people would say it is not needed, but people who actually tried it know it is one of the best MP ever made, it was crazy fun.

Well said. TLoU’s SP was a masterpiece, but my goodness, that MP was so much freaking fun (with a good team/friends) who actually helped you. Intense, and all around a blast to play and some of the most fun I’ve ever had online.

Agreed, not needed. However, knowing the end product with the fantastic SP game, SP has peaked my personal interest at least, and have earned my trust over the years to at least not completely shut down the idea, and just wait and see what they’d come up with for MP.

I could see something Dark Souls like with an invading enemy warrior but nothing full on multiplayer wise.

Invasions and duels would be pretty good I think but I agree full multiplayer just isnt necessary.

imo, co-op would make the campaign feel weird, while for MP, they can do whatever they want without affecting the campaign, MP is safer.

If done correctly and can be balanced accordingly, don’t see why anyone would ever have an issue with co-op. Gives more options for players who may not want to play through a story alone

They should just approach it like deathloop drop in drop out multiplayer. Actually all ps exclusives should do this lol they all feature companions.

I have been really interested in this game but just refrained from buying it because I only play mp games and I just know i would prob only play half of it before needing my competitive fix. If it had mp it would have been day 1 for me. So contrary to guys who think these games never need a mp there is a whole other segment of the market out there they are missing out on and another revenue stream with online content. I want another bushido blade.
