Logged in just to give this an Agree lol. even though I appreciate the idea of ps+ and games with gold giving “free games”, I can’t remember the last game I actually played that was supplied. They’re usually games that are continually heavily discounted in each and every sale Sony has.

Before someone hits us with the “entitled gamer” label, yes. As paying customers we ARE 100% entitled to compelling services in exchange for our money. We literally pay for this and are entitled to have opinions on what is being offered.

Nice looking premium avatars, premium themes could be included. Movies are on psn store so why not, it doesnt say "games only". People always complain about the free games and this free 2 months of a anime service is nice.

I dont really play the ps+ free games the last ones I played was darksiders 2 and sniper elite which I never finished. Other then that I buy and play my games from the discounts.

True bad to be fair they never claimed to offer anything else other than a couple monthly games, game discounts and the "ability" to play online.

Look liking/playing the games they give us each month is purely subjective. Some people will play them some will not. Could they give out more stuff? Yes sure but they are a company after all and they'll do what's in their best interest 99% of the time. The only thing we can do is keep asking for stuff we want and maybe just maybe they'll listen at some point.

They can't make everyone happy with the selection of games every month. Most of the games I already have or have no interest in but I want to be able to play online. So for me its a plus. Pun intended.

They have some old stuff but I don't think those. They do have maybe the biggest anime catelog you can find legally in NA though

Competes with Crunchyroll. I personally have never been terribly impressed with Funimation's selection, but maybe it has gotten better in the past few years since I dropped my sub.

They have a lot. Not everything, but a lot of anime.

Funimation doesn't in general still own the rights to distribute a lot of the stuff they were doing 20+ years ago. Kind of sucks really, because they were one of the few companies that did that kind of stuff back then, and there were a lot of shows which likely won't get licensed again for western localization. Not that they were the best localizers, but I like older anime a lot more than most of the newish stuff.

If you go up the chain, AT&T owns VRV. Which is probably why I have a free subscription as a benefit of my phone plan.

Funimation and Crunchyroll did have a collaborative relationship for a short time, which may be what you're thinking about.
