Good stuff here. Today, Bethesda Game Studios took The Elder Scrolls: Blades out of early access with Update 1.7 and released on the Nintendo Switch, downloadable now for free from the Nintendo eShop.
The Elder Scrolls Blades stands as a foray into the realm of mobile gaming, offering a condensed yet immersive experience for fans on the go.
From titles that learned nothing from past mistakes to games nobody asked for, these are the worst games of 2020.
CCG writes - "Set after the Oblivion Crisis of the fourth series entry and the Great War that followed but before the events of Skyrim, ES: Blades is a side-story for the Blades, the former bodyguards of the Septim heirs now driven underground and forced to hide from assassins sent by the Aldmeri Dominion. They forced the weakened post-Septim Empire to cut off support for the former Blades after the Great War, and you play as a former Blade now struggling to survive."
This is a microtransaction-filled gatcha "game" and probably the worst of such on the switch. Deserves a 40 topps, this guy is on some serious drugs.
Hey, it's free. I'll give it a try. :)
Does this require an internet connection to play?
Just to set expectations, I got into the early mobile beta a while back & also recently dropped back in. While some things have improved (no more chest timers, for one), this game is nothing like TES. It is very linear. Veeeerrrry linear. It's a decent little mobile time waster, but definitely don't go into it with any expectations you're gonna be settling into Skyrim lite or anything lol.
16x the detail - Todd Howard, probably.
