Bandai Namco is preparing to launch Tales of Crestoria on mobile platforms, and an open beta is going on in a couple of regions.
Tales of Crestoria has been released a few months ago, but Bandai Namco isn't done promoting its new mobile JRPG.
I have to say, IMO this animation was a cut above the usual quality standard I've seen from Tales animations. Really nice work.

Got my interest until I read mobile... Don't get me wrong, a mobile game can be good. But almost always you can feel the disgusting cash grab that it is.
Crestoria is a write off because its mobile gaming and mobile games are more as a time killer like if you're waiting in a doctors office. There were a few articles a few months back of companies stating they are losing cash on the mobile side of gaming. I doubt this game will push the numbers unless you're a true die hard Tales fan I'd rather go for Tales of Arise.
