Bejeweled Twist, Popcap's latest blockbuster casual game, arrived on the 27th of October. We're now into November and CasualGamerChick still doesn't have a Bejeweled Twist review. Why?

Overall, Bejeweled Twist isn't as revolutionary as other Popcap titles, it is evolutionary in terms of match-three gaming. You'll notice bits and pieces of Peggle, Chuzzle, Bookworm, Venice and others Popcap titles bundled in the fabric of Twist. The evolution of Bejeweled is complete giving other match-three style games the look of dusty old sameness.
This is going to be Popcap's next "gem" of a game title.
Bejeweled Twist is a decent puzzler that will undoubtedly take up many hours of your time if you give it a chance. As a standalone game it’s a bit of a struggle to recommend Bejeweled Twist to most gamers, but if you’re a fan of the Bejeweled mechanic then this is surely a must have for your collection. If you love Bejeweled then add another 2 to the rating score, for everyone else, Bejeweled Twist would be a good game to take on a train or plane journey to pass the time.
