European TV channel ARTE and developer La Belle Games have announced a new joint project. The Wanderer: Frankenstein's Creature is a narrative adventure game coming to PC on October 31st. It'll also hit mobile and Nintendo Switch at a later date.
Michael Kitchin writes, "As a take on a classic, The Wanderer: Frankenstein's Creature manages to provide some stunning visuals with some slick presentational touches. It's light on interaction but the player does at least have something to do in each scene. The dialogue choices might not steer the experience too far off track but it does allow you to colour the narrative in some subtle ways. The story builds upon the existentialism nicely and does have it's own moments of artistic license. It's a well done, concise package that is worth checking out."
Neil writes: "Whenever we see a game being praised after launch on other formats, we tend to cast a slightly jealous eye. That was the case with The Wanderer: Frankenstein's Creature, as we noticed it popping up on our radar after launch on Steam, critically acclaimed in the process. Now though that same game comes to Xbox and PlayStation, giving console gamers the chance to follow Dr. Frankenstein's creation from the very beginning."
Gareth writes: "The Wanderer: Frankenstein’s Creature; I’ve loved what has been created, the integration of the Frankenstein story has been an inspired choice"
