CheatCC says: "It seems Everlight struggles to break free from the generic mold it was cast in. It does so with limited success and manages to deliver some admittedly good gaming moments in the process. The game's quirkier content scattered will be a turnoff to some players, but it does keep things from getting too boring and will possibly appeal to the teen audience its geared toward. There are certainly better fantasy adventure titles to be had, but Everlight has enough going for it to make it worth a try."
Free-to-play online computer game company KoramGame has revealed that the closed beta for Everlight, an upcoming browser-based fantasy action role-playing game will begin on February 28, 2013. Those who are interested in taking part can register on the official Everlight Facebook Page. In addition to reserving their spot in the closed beta, registrants will also receive a special in-game bonus.
Avault:
"You can dress up a pig in the world's finest clothing, but at the end of the day, it's still just a pig. Everlight might be one of the best looking adventure games out there, but its ponderous story, its vast collection of superfluous objects and its virtual swarm of distracting bugs make you want to give up the journey long before it ends. I have great respect for the effort made to make it look great, but it's a shame that the same kind of effort wasn't made to make it play great."
If you like a fanciful game, with meaty puzzles, a fun cast of characters and a playing time that is easily 15+ hours - if you don't cheat and consult a walkthrough - then Everlight of Magic and Power should be just your cup of tea.
