Is Borderlands 3 Gearbox's Answer to Destiny, The Division and Anthem?

BL was the first of its kind to do it. Acti, Ubi and especially EA have started on the wrong foot with the genre only to get better with updates and sequels down the road. BL's goal is to remain true to what it is, in order to be yet another success. Whats what funny is, Gearbox treated the games as "Live Service" way before live service was even established. Updates to lvl caps, skills fixes etc. BL's has been a live service a service you can play offline at that. The first console live serrvice to do it right.

Borderlands is the veteran who walks back into the scene not even acknowledging Destiny, The Division and Anthem. That's like asking if Diablo III was an answer to Divinity Original Sin, only Borderlands has far less in common with Destiny, The Division and Anthem than my comparison.
