We take a look at the murder mystery story-based puzzler Rainswept developed by Frostwood Interactive. Who killed Chris & Dianne and why?
Gareth writes: "Rainswept on Xbox One is a game that I have enjoyed tremendously, from the very start right up to the very finish. It tells a great, mysterious detective story while keeping its heart, humour, and heat."
Rainswept does well to give a proper murder-mystery narrative with a minimal art style that lets the writing take center stage in a captivating playthrough, but suffers from a slow-burn approach with repetitive and simplistic gameplay that doesn’t do it much favors in the long run, but still holds strong by the end of this noir adventure.
