I don't know why you would ever need this. Any pc with bluetooth will pair with the ps4 controller, free app input mapper takes care of every thing else.

Not all PC's have bluetooth. Even newer prebuilt systems may not include it. It's only actually common in laptops, although more and more desktops are being delivered with BlueTooth transceivers on the motherboard.

Very few desktops have bluetooth pre-installed, so if people want to use there DS on PC then they're going to have to buy one either way.... Pretty simple to understand really..

I have a £1000 laptop that didn't come with Bluetooth and built my own pc also without Bluetooth. Some people would definitely have use for it. Me though I'd just buy one of those small USB Bluetooth adaptors if I needed it. However some people like to have the official thing.

You guys are missing the point of this adapter, this adapter will give the DS4 native support on your PC, meaning that you will have Playstation icons on screen with games that support the DS4, games like Batman AK and Firewatch(among others), which both utilise the touchpad and more importantly will have Playstation icons on screen(which at the moment can only be achieved wired). Also Playstation Now and Remote Play do not work over BT only wired.
There will be no need for third party apps and confusing button presses during the heat of battle, a Xbox X button prompt on screen can instinctively lead to pressing the X button on the DS4(i've done this many times) which we all know are completely different buttons.

Has anyone heard how this does with multiple ds4s? I bought a bluetooth dongle earlier and the input lag is horrendous with 4 ds4s connected. Want to use them for steam only party games like ultimate chicken horse.
