Its like the wage gap myth. Kim Kardashian, Taylor swift and Nicki Minaj are proof enough that Men don't make more, they just choose the jobs that pay more like ladies are nurses while men are more likely to become doctors,its not like female engineers get paid $10 per hour.

If those two lists were merged only 2 women would remain in the top 20. And even going back to doctors, male doctors on average make much more than female doctors, the wage gap is not a myth.

Kalebninja, All the studies that I've seen don't take into consideration that men take riskier jobs, have been working in their profession for longer, work more hours on average and don't mention when woman take off time when they have children. In the US anyway, its illegal for a men\woman to be paid different if you have identical things I mentioned above. That article with movie stars means nothing, just because someone like Vin Diesel makes more means his presence has more demand ect.

Kaleb, why don't I ever hear equality in blue collar fields? It's only ever doctors, lawyers, and the like?
And needn't I say that everyone is paid differently in those fields. For doctors, an anesthesiologist is definitely paid more than a typical physician.
For lawyers, the lawyer with decades of experience and a good track record is definitely paid more than one that is just entering the career. Not to forget that that field is saturated.

The reason for that is that women tend to want to work flexible hours, because they also want to spend time with their children.

Life is not all about money. Why work 60 hour weeks so you can buy a nice house which you never get to spend time in until you are old?

It's a reasonable lifestyle choice not to want to live to work.

Before the mid 30s, women earn as much if not more than men.

As for actors: that's a field based on demand and negotiation. Nobody is forcing female actors to accept low wages, and studios do not want to spend more than they have to on male actors. At the end of the day, actors get paid what they deserve, moreso than in other fields, given the project-based employment.

If it means so dam much make your own dam game exactly how you want it. There is no realistic portrayal of any gender in any form when it comes to fantasy. You want realism? You want something that resembles real life heroics and strength and positive role models for women find a book and read about the multitude of women that have done great things in the real world and stick with that. While your at it stay away from women who are strippers, and women who are not as strong as your average man. There's your perfect little non objectified super strong fantasy world of women needing no one.
