IGN: From the Abyss Review

These types of hack-and-slash dungeon diving games don't appeal to everyone, but if you're a fan of the genre, From the Abyss is a competent offering. It's got lots of dungeons to explore, tons of items to equip, and some pretty cool boss fights. It missed a good opportunity by not letting you progress through the story in co-op mode, but it's still a fun single-player experience. If you're not afraid of a little challenge and you like the flavor of traditional Japanese games, give From the Abyss a look.
