Black Desert Online, one of the few Korean MMO’s to get brought over to English speaking countries. Developed by Pearl Abyss, which seemingly seems to be their first game and has been in development since 2010, This MMORPG has everything the Koreans are known for, amazing graphics, deep lore and sweat sliders… wait maybe not that last one.
Black Desert Online is celebrating its 8th birthday with a handful of major milestones since the game Korean launch in 2014.
Today Pearl Abyss hosted its traditional Calpheon Ball news livestream, and the developer of Black Desert certainly had a lot to share.
I'm shocked it's coming to the Xbox consoles, just seems a waste or money and time for little in return.
Well, you shouldn't. Black Desert is already available on the Xbox One, and thanks to Microsoft's streamlined game SKU management, it's highly probable that the developers simply have to press a button to make it a native port. The one that will need more time and money is the Playstation version, that will likely need a completely new SKU for the native version to work.

Only the reality, unfortunately. Sony did an excellent job on the PS5 software, but they didn't put the same effort into the PSN. The way the system handles licenses is terrible.
