Alex Gibson from GamersFTW writes "In many ways, expectations for single player content is at odds with Titanfall's game model, which was quite obviously designed around its multiplayer mode. Yet, many gamer's felt aggrieved by the original games lack of content, and an almost embarrassingly dismal single player campaign. As a result, Respawn Entertainment now find themselves backed into a corner with Titanfall 2; they simply must produce a satisfying campaign mode, as to not do so would both devalue the sequel and spoil the game's reception at launch."
The best shooter campaign since Half-Life 2 still hasn't been topped eight years later.
I agree with this. The time travel mechanics. The sense of scale. The relationship with your mech. The bosses all had personalities. It's a wonderful game.
Yeah it was good, but it only did the time travel bit in one level. Dishonered 2 did the same thing. Now how about a game where it's implemented throughout the gameplay? Singularity says Hello (and deserves so much more recognition).
Cultured Vultures: These 15 unresolved video cliffhangers could be solved in the future, though if we’re really honest with ourselves, we all know there’s no chance in hell of that happening.
Never say never, I really didn't expect to ever see Space Marine 2 and 12 years later its almost here.
So there is still hope for all these games.
I've completed 5 of the games on the list, but the author forgot to include Advent Rising. It was supposed to be a trilogy, but it bombed hard, and the two sequels never got made. It was Mass Effect, a console generation before Mass Effect.
The game is buggy and unpolished, it needed a few more months of development, but the potential was there. At the end of the game, you have all these super abilities, I remember the stomp attack that created a shockwave being especially powerful.
I personally think days gone will recieve some sort of sequel at some point. I'm personally also hoping it's not the rumored multiplayer online stuff. I'd think most that enjoyed it would rather thisnto.
Sony needs to dust off Sly Cooper and Days Gone so needs a sequel two of my favorite Sony titles. Bulletstorm I love great game wish it also got a sequel. And I wish Namco would finally give Enslaved a sequel another great game.
From mechs of the future and alternate history, suit up and get ready to wreak some havoc in the best mecha games of all time.
A best all time mecha game list without Zone of the Enders even on the list is 100% crap to me. Worth saying twice though not intentional

I have a feeling that either way people are going to be annoyed, either the single player will be rubbish, or it will make it something it's not. I honestly quite enjoyed the first game so it will be really interesting to see how the sequel pans out.
Its the same issue Destiny had.. Gamers want more for their money these days. If they can produce a good campaign, IGN will give it a 9 and then it will attract more players..
Bet any money the multiplayer will be good but the game will get bad reviews because of boring campaign.
It was a much noted issue of the community that there wasn't any single-player campaign, so kudos to them for doing one second time around. BUT, it needs to be a good campaign for it to have been worth it, and meet the (so to say) "expectations" of the community. There's not much point in them focusing on the campaign only for it to end up being 4hours long (and it definitely needs some large-scale epic battles, that's what SP Campaigns are about)!
IMO, they could keep the multiplayer as it is, just fill it with more - and new - content (also some Titan and character customisation would be awesome), and focus on the campaign, as Titanfall's multiplayer was the most addictive and gripping I had played in a while! The movement was perfect, levelling was perfect, ranking was good. Though I have only owned the game from late last year when it was on a deal, so I had all the DLC maps and any issues were fixed when I first started it, so I don't have the complete picture on the games state at launch/in its early months.
Drop the campaign and make it like titanfall 1 because that was the greatest twitch fps in such a long time and xbox owners absolutely loved every part of it.
