Saints Row: Gat out of Hell | Geekenstein

"It’s clear that the style of Saints Row is alive and well in Gat out of Hell, but it loses a step or two when it becomes something that you interact with. The game is structured completely around side activities, many returning from the previous two games. Insurance Fraud and Mayhem are still very enjoyable, but it feels a bit uninspired to just run through the same activities again considering that the game’s setting has changed so drastically. Unique activities mainly involve flying with your newly gained angel wings, which control well once upgraded past the starting levels of speed and maneuverability." - Alex Santa Maria of Geekenstein

Four games are leaving Xbox Game Pass at the end of September 2018

I was wondering about getting this. When a game leaves gamepass but I still have it downloaded, does it become deactivated and unplayable?

GrimReaperGamer2471d ago

Got some answers for you off the Xbox Game Pass FAQ:

If I download a game, will it be deleted if it leaves Xbox Game Pass or my subscription cancels/expires?

Your space is your space. Games will not be deleted from your hard drive until you want them gone, even if they have rolled out of the Xbox Game Pass catalog.

If I download a game, can I access it after it leaves the catalog?

Once a title leaves the Xbox Game Pass catalog, you will need to insert a disc, purchase a digital copy from the Microsoft Store, or obtain another form of entitlement (like a trial) to continue playing. Remember, Xbox will notify users prior to a game leaving the Xbox Game Pass catalog. And, as a member, you can purchase any Xbox One game in the Xbox Game Pass catalog for up to 20% off (or the best available discounted price) to continue playing a game once it leaves the catalog. Xbox Game Pass discounts are not combinable with other offers and are not redeemable for cash; discount offers exclude titles within 30 days of launch; discounts based on Microsoft Store price.

FlyGuyHung2471d ago

Yeah an alert will pop up saying you dont own the game and ask you to either insert the disc or buy a digital copy.

Why is it I only see when games are leaving?

Cmv382471d ago

https://news.xbox.com/en-us...

there were multiple articles about this on n4g and every other month

lxeasy2471d ago (Edited 2471d ago )

Cause you're choosing not to look

oKidUKo2471d ago

We cover both removals and additions, and I do see a lot of people covering the new inclusions each month.

Bobafret2470d ago

I stand corrected then, thanks.

KillBill2470d ago

Because you aren't properly watching the news when they add games maybe? Here on N4G the news of games leaving gets more notice (heat) simply because some people imagine that it is a slight of GamePass that they can focus on.

Bobafret2470d ago

Wow, even when I admit I made a mistake and own up I get a disagree.

Why do the games leave? Must be low demand.

Wikkid6662471d ago

The licenses run out.... MS has to negotiate the length and payment, etc before adding 3rd party titles.

Christopher2471d ago

It could be low demand.

How it works is each game has a time for the license of Microsoft being able to provide it via Gamepass. If people don't download them enough for Microsoft to keep paying those fees to extend the license period, then they might not pay to keep access to the license. In addition the owners of the IPs don't have to offer the license up after that as well or they could ask for more for the cost of licensing the games, which Microsoft might not want to pay.
