Wolfgang Wozniak, the founder and lead programmer at independent development studio Wolf Game, has revealed that he is starting work on his ambitious Wii U eShop game Gunpop soon.
There isn’t much information out there about the game just yet, but the developer has confirmed that after playing around with Unity he’s got a very clear image of what he wants to achieve. There are two vines released of basic character animation which can be seen here and here. This news comes after a delay, after his original ideas were too ambitious for the team. Once work is underway they hope to create a playable build to make a pitch to a publisher. It’s unclear if the game will remain a Wii U exclusive or if the team plan to make it a multi-platform release instead.
