Aaron Garbut, Art Director at Rockstar North, explained with excitement the growth process behind GTA Online.
Former Rockstar Games Technical Director Obbe Vermeij has finally revealed why some planes would randomly crash in GTA: San Andreas.
This fly by feature was on the cutting room floor due to the random plane crashes and it's one of those things I'm so thankful made it into the final version as these random fly by and crashes make the world seem more alive on the extremely limited PS2 hardware you needed everything you could possibly get in a open world to convey that feeling.
And accross hundreds of hours of gameplay I probably died around 3 times as a result of these fly by failures but I loved every time it happened
It made the world feel more human, and honestly kinda insane that even today with all these open world games, almost no one can capture that like R* even when compared to their ps2 games
Lol, I remember those. I vaguely remember dying from one crashing into my car once too.
The street-level action is heating up, so dive headfirst into the chaos of Freemode Challenges and Events — all of which are paying out Double Rewards.
Rockstar Games will be conducting one-to-one discussions regarding its live service game, GTA Online, with a select number of players.
Haven't played in a while, but I have faith in Rockstars creative minds to reel me back in soon enough
Where is the mutha fuckin bank heist at?.
GTA online suffers from the same issues that seem to plague ambitious open ended games. It promises great things but never seems to deliver them.
I would likely give it another go if R* could deliver on the idea but I have my doubts.
If it was broken then it should never have been released in the first place. Is this what we should expect now from games ? its not right.
I'm sorry to have to argue against a few of you bit I think gta and R* get too much flack on forums. If they'd offered me an unfinished product in May last year or the September before that, I'd have snatched at the chance. I'd have played whatever story mode they had so far and played at just that until Online was launched. Imagine if they'd delayed launch until now, or whenever they release a patch that has everything you want fixed or added. I'd like destructible buildings and earthquakes but I'm not gonna boycott the game until it's on. For playability GTA can't be beaten. And now R* have a totally progressive game. They want you to play it for years not months. Don't sweat it, you won't have to wait til GTA 6 to see all those things in the game and working. I've not even read this article but I just thought I'd get my piece in.
