is not a big difference like ps2-ps3 or xbox-xbox360 was in therms of remastering the game. i don't see anyone investing in this.

Kamikaze1354124d ago

I'd love to play some of the current gen console only games in 1080p, 60fps, and less pop in. Maybe even tweaks to lighting and higher res textures.

RevXM4124d ago

Yes that be nice... but proper Emulation that ups the resolution and AA would be better. Heck just the bare emulation is good enough if its as good as playing on a ps3/360.
I can only wish right?

Remakes can wait IMO until Ps3 games seem as dated as Ps1 and early ps2 games are now.
Re release when it feels right, with a complete overhaul of the whole game if not an actual remake. I can see myself playing a ultra realistic Motorstorm remake 15 years down the road and its awesome.

just nine days left to the supposed PS4 reveal!

Mookie4124d ago

Skyrim would be cool on the ps4, all those problems on the Ps3 version.

tehpees34124d ago

Provided they are backwards compatible people will play them anyway. I think people should look to what games the others can bring to the table that are unique.

lovegames7184124d ago

Correction! all those problems on both the xbox and ps3 version. I dont know why ppl act like the xbox version didnt suffer from same problems when it was released.

Either way #uck Skyrima nd the devs they will never get my money. I dont foster incompetence and mediocrity.

In anycase we all know these are coming next gen and i look forward to them....

UC series
Gow Series
Kz series
Gran Turismo
Lbp Series
and i hope and pray Demon souls gets picked up and we get one for ps4 that would be insane!!!!!

ApolloTheBoss4124d ago

It's probably the reason GTA got delayed in the first place.

cleverusername4124d ago

Delayed for 4 months to give them time to make it for next gen consoles? It takes a teeny bit longer to make a GTA game! Rockstar ALWAYS delay their games!

i think the only real loss is GTAV

OtterX5d ago

I think everyone and their sister owns the game by now. They likely want to squeeze the rest of the holdouts before GTAVI releases.

Profchaos4d ago

That game comes and goes from subscriptions so frequently I think it's expected now. Like rdr2 on gamepass Rockstar Games only last a max of 3 months On a service

MrBaskerville4d ago

Talos Principle is the real loss.

BanginTunes4d ago

Facts that game is good as fuck I'm playing through 2 now, very underrated

Huey_My_D_Long5d ago

indivisible was pretty neat. Cute artstyle, fun throwback to older RPGs, shame its leaving but it is on sale often

shinoff21834d ago

Definitely. I e joyed what I played of it. Still gotta grab the physical at some point

Petebloodyonion5d ago

I'm not surprised by GTA V removal, Rockstar never allows this game to stay long on a subscription service.
They usually allow 4 to 6 months.

lodossrage5d ago

Yeah, they do that routinely with both GTA and Red Dead.

But it's because they know they can still sell them so they take them off and on to these sub services in cycle.

The weird thing to me is why is anyone still buying those games at this point? You would think after 3 generations of being sold GTA 5 that everyone and their momma would have it by now

RNTody4d ago

I fail to see how the loss of an almost 11 year old game that released across 3 generations is in any way a problem.
