A sequel to the PS Vita’s most heavily criticized title released this year may be in the pipeline.
According to a tweet (now deleted) on twitter made by Activision Social Media Manager, Dan Amrich, Call Of Duty: Black Ops Declassified 2 is in the pipeline and is scheduled for a Winter 2013 release.
I would like to see them make a new COD for the Vita, but giving it the same name as Declassified, will hinder it's chances of selling as well as a COD game should. They have 10 months to make it or longer if development started before the release of the first one.
I almost never tried the others cause the first. Wasnt till the most recent (before 3) I was convinced to throw my initial opinion out the window.
On a side note, Persona 4 was amazing! May buy a Vita for this the next time a promotion strikes.
After playing a bit of Black Ops and the MP of 2, I decided Declassified should have been better than what we got.
the author of this site didn't do a great job at research considering Dan Amrich's REAL twitter is "OneOfSwords"
:/

https://twitter.com/DanAmri...
@OneOfSwords is my work account where I talk about Activision stuff. The @DanAmrich account is my personal account and it is real, but I do not post about work on it (at least, not intentionally -- sometimes I slip up and RT something from the wrong account). I had @DanAmrich before I started at Activision so I kept it, in case I ever left Activision but they wanted to keep the @OneOfSwords brand.
Also, I am the author of a book about writing on a professional level, so I generally use proper English when I tweet, which the forger did not. That should have been a clue. And hey, it doesn't make a lick of sense that Activision would announce a Call of Duty game through my personal account and not, say, a press release or a story in a major media outlet. C'mon now.
As for why I talk about guitars and my book on my personal account, it's because...it's my personal account. Those are my hobbies and interests. I have a personal blog on my personal website, too. I am more than my job -- aren't you?
But I did not see the point of creating yet another Twitter account just for the book which is admittedly going to be of interest to a small audience, so I just used my existing personal account. Many people have contacted me there with book feedback, and it's worked out fine.
So, TL;DR version: Fake tweet, like I said in December.
Never argued whether the tweet was 'real' or not, just that the twitter account appeared to be real. I wasn't aware of you or your work before stumbling across this story, to be honest - from a cursory glance, having two separate twitter accounts, one all about games, and one not (but only the non-games account being linked to from a video game book's website) struck me as mildly odd.
Anyhow, thanks for the clarification!
They'll just port over the next one from the consoles.
@San
I love that your a bounty/mercenary and take jobs for both side's. I hope its a nodge toward a Helghast campaign in Killzone 4, that needs to happen!
They make pretty games though.
@majiebeast Yeah, i always want a hellghast campaign. To see the story of the other side. But this the same with second world war games . I always like to see the other side >>> Nazi's / Space Nazi's.
Although there are always possibilities of games being delayed so we just have to wait for now.
Someone has falsified a tweet claiming I sent it from this account. They lied. My Activision news/the truth exists at @OneOfSwords anyway.
or they will port the next cod to Vita.
