In defense of Persona 4, this article looks at how the sequel improved on the original, and also how Persona 3 fans should get the sticks out of their asses about Scooby Doo.
Saad from eXputer: "I'm glad I don't have to choose between Square Enix, Atlus, and FromSoftware due to bad release windows and Shadow of the Erdtree."
What a word vomit, rambling, turd of an article that simply states the obvious. Classic exputer.
The studio was on the verge of collapse when Persona 3 came out, and things were looking quite grim for Atlus. Regardless, many decisions made in the game paid off and became a staggering success.
Years ago, I was emulating the game on my laptop and the old thing died when I was about to get to the final boss. I'm more than happy to buy this remake when it comes out so I can finish it!
At the time I was immersed in SMT Nocturne and later DDS. I did not realize at all how important Persona would become for me years later.
Persona 3 FES was the first one that I played in the series. Looking forward to the remake.
The P3RE.JP has seen an update to its domain today, suggesting that the rumored Persona 3 Remake could be announced in the near future.
I liked Persona 4 better. The characters were more diverse, and had a wonderful mixture of lighthearted-ness to it, yet still managed to be extremely dark at other times. They found a balance that worked well, and had a story that was intriguing and unpredictable for the most part.
Persona 3 was an outstanding game though. The story was better than P4's, and I get that they were going for a really dark atmosphere. However I just think it's oversaturated with that heavy feeling. At least for me personally.
Both games are shining RPG's however, and I don't think it's possible to determine which is better. It's simply a matter of choice. :]
Now... Where's P5? That's all I want to know...
Why not P3:FES vs. Persona 4?
