If any of these are on consoles then its just pointless comparing them to FPS on the PC - such an inferior ballgame on consoles.

I'm sure the halo fans have room for COD!! I mean seriously, what else is there for them out there?!
crackdown 2?! LMAO!

RockmanII75052d ago

You don't need anything but Halo.

...NO!! LOL

All jokes aside, its a tough choice. But in the end, I'd go with COD. COD4's multiplayer was CRACK.

"Let's be frank
now we all know both of those shooters are overrated anyways....."

At least 20 million people and several dozen critics disagree with you. If YOU think its overrated, then thats cool. But from my point of view, no other game this generation has better popularized online
multiplayer gaming better than the Modern Warfare franchise.

Like, literally since the day I got my PS3 in 2007, COD DLC(9 times outta 10) is that most bought item on the Playstation Network.

"Can I vote killzone?"

YESSSS.

Corrected5052d ago

At the very least could you vote for a GOOD fps?

FACTUAL evidence5053d ago

now we all know both of those shooters are overrated anyways.....

MazzingerZ5053d ago

Halo 100% better, created own universe and characters.

COD only uses current war themes and Activision wishes for a new war somehwere so they can keep releasing "fresh" versions of the game

TheDeadMetalhead5052d ago (Edited 5052d ago )

So we're comparing

- An unplayably laggy borderline-broken FPS that gets worse with every patch.

to:

- An also ridiculously laggy (but to a lesser extent that's still mostly playable) game that feels like every map is underwater because you move so slow and jump high.

...Screw this, I'm going back to Counter-Strike. Even if my craptacular PC can only run it on low settings at about 40FPS.

MazzingerZ5052d ago

Halo is not laggy, it's your connection, I have 100/10 Mbps and it works awesome

No rambling scientific theories please ...

The sun is just a star. Once it runs out of fuel (loooong after we're all dead), it will indeed stop shining.

Jack-Pyro5052d ago

The Sun is powered by the magic of Jesus, and for you to say that the magic of Jesus will one day run out is Blasphemy, BLASPHEMY I SAY!!!/S

XD

ll_UNDERSCORE_ll5053d ago

both are good franchises in their own right. But if I had to pick one it would be halo. Not because I'm a Halo fan, but because of the SCI-FI aspect of it. I'm tierd of the G.I. experience . You turn on the t.v. your exposed to terrorism/war/ political shit. Not to say Halo doesn't have those plots in some similarity, but that's for fan's to break down.

CountDracula5053d ago (Edited 5053d ago )

But It SEEMS that the Halo series will soon top it. There hasn't been a real challenge to COD series since Halo 3 was released BEFORE COD 4.

Please, keep the original art style and feel at least. Do not dilute these classics and turned them into clones of their sub-par sequels.

Also, how about some Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. the Soulless Army and Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon love? And a sequel wouldn't hurt either. Something along the lines of Code Vein or even Scarlet Nexus would be cool. Just, you know, keep the original art style and feel.
