With rumors swirling of the supposed exclusion of used game support from Microsoft’s upcoming console, all signs point to pre-owned purchases being a thing of the past for Xbox users.

BLG writes, "Some of the most popular games have had a rough start, with some of them being downright unplayable.
Despite that, developers have managed to turn it around for them and make their game worth playing. Here are some games that had a rough start but were pretty great."
Sea of Thieves... I'm not disagreeing that the game has improved in terms of content. But I feel that the most significant change between now and its release is actually the public perception. Nowadays, most people are aware that the game is a multiplayer PvP-focused experience first and foremost, and not "Black Flag made by Rare". Consequently, people dismissing the whole experience because the single-player aspect is lacking or the story is plain are much less common.
Days gone! By the end of the game I couldn't drop it down! I went around so many hours killing zombies! It was addictive by the end.

They aren't going to give more. We are talking about a company that has rereleased an 13 year old game at least 5 times.

Not anytime soon.
Wii U, PS4, 3DS, and PS VITA all allow you to play used games, so if Microsoft wants to try and stop it with their new XBOX then they are just being moronic.
I think developers will make it so that if you do buy preowned games you will need some voucher code to get the complete experience unless you buy a preowned copy with an unused code.
Wouldn't it be something if both next gen systems adopt this NO used games mentality and used a digital ONLY distribution of new games and there NEW console didn't SELL!!!!
If these rumors become real,it would not surprise me if the next gen tanked! Used games are a part of life as much as death and taxes are!. In these rough economic times people can't afford a $60.00 new game...that they may not even like!
Lets hope that that game console companies can come up with some sort of happy medium.Perhaps a pass code for used games that could be purchased at a reasonable price to play a used game.
As long time gamers,we need to get our thoughts out there on these issues!!!
