Well what you guys think about this game? What is this?
The Vita Lounge - Augmented reality (AR) games tend to spark a reaction in people, and more often than not it’s a chilling shudder down the spine. In some ways similar to the 3D push, augmented reality titles have been around for longer than you think and have yet never really become a fully realised or supported type of game. Nintendo bundled in 6 AR cards with the 3DS and yet, beyond special features, it hasn’t really taken hold.
Edge:At its best, Open Me will make you wonder why developers don’t harness the power of Augmented Reality more often. At its worst, it provides the answer. It’s a fine game, hamstrung by the limitations of the format: the deviousness of its puzzles should be enjoyably frustrating, but often they’re simply irritating, crossing the line between demanding and arduous.
GodisaGeek: "AR titles are commonly ugly, inconsistent and generally boring. Sure, Open Me! isn’t thrilling in terms of graphics, but the puzzles here aren’t child’s play and other than a few hiccups that the tech can’t escape, it’s a responsive effort. A more meaty online mode would add a lot, but this can still be declared the best AR game on Sony’s handheld. Now, all you have to do is find those cards."
What... the...
SCEJ... bringing some of the most unique games to the PS library. Can't wait to see what this actually is.
What's in the box?...curiosity...
I'm getting a sniff of Echochrome for some reason, perhaps something like that as its a download-only title.
they could've just shaken the boxes to see if something was inside
So, if you found yourself in a room full of boxes with "open me" on them and a stranger, wouldn't the first thing you'd do is look for a way out?
