@Inzo Halo Infinite has lost 2 people, one of them was in charge of the Halo 5 campaign which is generally disliked. Sony Santa Monica had way worse development troubles than 343 and nearly shut down several times during God of Wars development. Go watch the Raising Kratos documentary
Gears 5 outsold Gears 4, but even if it sold 0 copies MS wants Game Pass subscribers. They would rather have people subscribe to Game Pass than buy the game.
