Oh man, taking out a Mass Effect 3 disc from the Collector's Edition case was so damn frightening. Sheesh, there was another game as well but I can't remember (BLOPS2 maybe?).
I only have a 360 but from my understanding doesn't the PS3 stream in 1080p? I've seen Netflix used on both and they're both identically functional, with the PS3 edging out because of 1080p and no need for PS+ subscription.
Arkham City is in this list? I loved exploring but there are bigger out there (Fallout 3, Oblivion, Just Cause 2, and more).
I think it's great that everyone can now experience the trilogy as a whole. Still, sucks that not all of the ME2 DLC is included.
I don't have a PS3, but I think the Slim looks nicer. Also, the removal of the loading bay is also an odd choice. Overall, this redesign is very meh, which is surprising coming from as Sony has had some very nice redesigns with their other products.
Even if other games outshine the Halo series in the graphics department, I still have yet to see a game that even comes close to the variety of modes and features the series has (only talking about consoles here).
Hell, I still think Halo 2 had more modes than most current shooters.
Capcom All Stars. Could have potential, but too bad the Mega Man we all know and love will probably get shafted again.
Why does everyone think 360 fans want a 4-player fighting game? I personally don't want one, especially since I could just play the SSB games. >_>
There's already one in the making, but only with Budokai 1 and 3.
BF3 had the better vehicle play, and gun customization, but wasn't that great on consoles due to map sizes, player count, etc.
BC2 worked so well because the consoles were its focus, so the maps were designed around their limits. While I enjoyed BF3 on my Xbox (more so on PC), BC2 was superior IMO.
I wouldn't put Gears 3 on here. I loved all whole trilogy, but the multiplayer in Gears 2 barely functioned for the first couple of months or so! SP wasn't as strong as the others, but Gears 3 improved on everything else.
I really enjoyed Bioshock 2. The first half was a bit slow, but it really picked up after that. The only problem I had was that I never really felt like I was playing as a Big Daddy, and the wonder of Rapture wasn't there this time around (though I still loved exploring the areas).
NOW they're adding Survival Mode and Time Trials?! Remember the days when those modes were standard? Sigh....
Probably between 12pm-3pm EST.
Besides the minor differences between the two (bronze/silver/gold/plat, 'leveling' up, etc.), they're both the same, but great. In fact, they probably extended the playtime of many games for me.
Some Xbox titles already do that (PS3 maybe, but I can't say). For example, in the L4D games, you can unlock some avatar props (medkit and some T-shirts), Halo 3 (or Reach) lets you unlock the monitor as a prop, and other games give you game pics as well.
Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask were released in the same generation, but yes, the wait for each Zelda title is very long.
I have both the Xbox and PC versions, but only the Xbox one was a Limited Edition, as I had gotten my PC version only recently. I think this the Premium is a fine deal, since you'll get discounted expansions and other nice bonuses. This isn't really different from the other season passes that other games have.
@CaitSith
Ah, I see. I've only played a bit of the first two games, so I don't really remember any specific level designs. Thanks for the link.
It's a new engine. As said in their press release.
