Well rockstar games already said gta v was open world & judging by the trailer i firmly believe that the game will have multiple story arcs & paths you can take with a host of familiar gta characters from past gta games.Also im sure they took some ideas from the saints row series latest installment given it's success & given that emulation to a degree is common business practice in the gaming industry.
