I forgot Stadia existed until I saw this article.

@realms I'm not sure consoles helped pc gaming recover so much as they probably assisted in the crash?
@babadook7 Intel is far more computers than AMD so uh..duh AMD makes more on console? Also your statement about console selling "far more games" is actually completely false. I don't know the numbers for this past year but the gap was pretty small last year so I doubt much has changed.

I'm a little skeptical that very many people thought it was just some sort of Add-On, WAY too much hype surrounding new consoles, even that one. It's not like hype escapes casuals, and it surely didn't with the Wii U. Was it a terrible concept as Shikoku claims? No. It was just super poorly executed. It wasn't powerful enough and didn't support nearly enough 3rd party games iirc. If anything it was a glimpse of the future that is the Switch.

Series XXX, the pr0nhub edition.

Sometimes I forget that there are people in the world that care about how consoles look, and if they'll stick out like a sore thumb or not.

So you're saying I shouldn't? :)

Hey you do you. But don't think for a second there's enough people that will actually give up gaming to matter :(

Sure, not having blu-ray didn't directly diminish the quality of the games. But it did drastically effect the sales, especially in the long term. I think it would be silly to downplay just how many people bought the ps3 because it had a blu-ray player, or bought it over the 360, because it had blu-ray. Or kids that convinced their parents to get the ps3 because it had blu-ray. Not only did this "remotely hurt" the 360. It probably propelled the Playstation brand to it's domi...

Yeah, how dare someone have foresight! Like seriously, fk Martin for releasing "A Game of Thrones" before finishing the whole series even though he had a rough idea of where it was going! . . . these people. They're so mad because of games like Destiny that launched with less content than the back of a cereal box. I get it, but they have to realize the difference between that extreme, and people planning real content that can't or shouldn't be included in the "vani...

OS2 is def in my top 5. Suikoden 2 is probably number 1 for me. It's hard not to throw DA:O in there and The Witcher series.

1611d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I think DA:I got rolled over have from DA2. Because DA2 was THAT bad.

I'm actually surprised it's this high.

Even if you can afford the internet required to "maybe" play this without many issues. If you're fortunate enough to live in a place with good enough internet etc. etc. Wouldn't you ultimately save money by just paying $20 dollars less a month for internet that isn't quite as good?

Unless Elon gets his thousands of satellite internet thingy majig mabob going..

I mean this only makes sense if you have really good internet for some o...

@TheSaint Cool story? Not true, but also irrelevant.

1622d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Pretty sure console has more casuals and kids... I'm also pretty sure the quantity of story driven single player games on pc is comparable to an ocean, where as on console it is more comparable to a pond. I sincerely hope you're a troll, and not some mislead console player who is completely and utterly oblivious :(

I think the whole idea of user swappable storage is to NOT have to download anything for a second time. The cloud wouldn't have anything to do with that. You would still have to download from the cloud. That being said, sure it could be a few things.

I mean at SOME point, latency won't be an issue and having hardware at your house won't make any sense at all. But for the mostly near future, yeah.

Selling his "mouth" and keyboard.

Omg they could stop letting me play! The evidence shows that I'll only be able to play the game online for...24 years and counting? Pretty sure you can still play Warcraft 2 online, and Starcraft etc. etc. So..evidence suggests you have anything to worry about. I would recommend comparing Diablo 4, to Diablo 2. Because they are much more similar than Diablo 4 and Lawbreakers.

I mean I get it, it might be somewhat annoying to some people that they might not be able to pl...
