The description is just worded terribly. By three levels, they mean single player, co-op online and co-op splitscreen.
It'll be out tomorrow, bot Capcom and SCEA confirmed it.
What's next? Submitting articles for how much HDD space is required for PC games.
There's some new trophies as well, but they're all Metal Gear Solid based.
You're missing the point. No one should be running their mouth about how it's "easier" when their game's frame rate dip into the single digits and is hammered by reviews for outstanding technical flaws. He should've just said "Last Remnant for PS3 will run like sh*t" to save everyone the trouble.
You do realize this is for the Official Xbox Magazine, right? Do you really think someone is going to bite the hand that pays, err, feeds them?
I'm not taking it personally at all. No one should be spouting their mouth off about how easy it is to work with 360 when their signature title is averaging a 6/10 and is overflowing with technical flaws.
Itagaki (Ninja Gaiden developer and avid 360 supporter): "One more thing I would add is that I don't think that developing for the PS3 is hard at all. It was much harder developing for the Famicom. It's true. I mean, give someone who's developing for the PS3 a Famicom and s...
Easier to work with? Let's take a look at the reviews!
Gamespot: "Abysmal frame-rate problems" ; "Awful texture pop-in" ; "Technical flaws mar"
IGN: "Some of the backgrounds look awesome. And sometimes the game moves like a slideshow."
1UP: "It's not just the glaring technical problems: loading screens between almost every cut-scene, battle, and location change; textures that constantly appear on backgrounds a...
Famitsu also gave Haze a 38/40, and we saw how that did stateside...
Yeah... 50 million dollars for exclusive GTA4 DLC isn't deep at all, right?
They only care about $$$. This will definitely land on both PSN and XBL. Capcom is to money hungry; there's no exclusives with them.
MS is now IP scanning. Any IP outside of Japan will be blocked from d/ling the demo. Just use a proxy and you're set.
I'm shocked it had framerate issues. NG, NGB, and NGS all ran flawlessly at 60 fps.
"The only trouble is that our review build had trouble maintaining a solid framerate throughout the adventure. Quite a few times when there were explosions on screen the game would start chugging. Late in the game when the levels toss huge numbers of enemies at you the game would crawl. Occasionally this was actually cool -- when things move a bit slower you can actually appreciate the artf...
MGS4 is the first PS3 game to use a 50GB disc. Resistance is the only other title confirmed to be 50GB.
Hard to say. This game is DL and 50GB. All others have been SL 25GB max, yet have much higher install requirements/times (DMC4, Haze, Heavenly Sword).
MGO is 1080p, and supports rumble.
Snake and Liquid are clones. They age more rapidly than usual.
Not a chance. Sony published FFVII, so they decide where it goes. Similar to Microsoft publishing Ninja Gaiden 2.
I hope that's a joke. Gamespot had an article yesterday with NPD numbers. VGChartz was no where near on target. http://www.gamespot.com/new...
Probably not the best way to decide. It's been confirmed this is an old build from TGS. It's missing shadows, particle effects, smoke, etc.
