Well put morganfell. Besides Solid Snake and Big Boss, Ocelot has to be one of the most badass characters in the Metal Gear universe.
God I love that series...
@Alndoria : *cough* Tactics Ogre was *cough* remake *cough*
That leaves EniX with ONE, count it, ONE GOOD ORIGINAL GAME SINCE 2003.
@360ICE : XII was alright, but it used the universe that Square created with tactics. Again they have to leech from Square. A far to common practice with Enix.
It's not like I'm hating Enix to be a dick, I want them to do well, truly. I grew up playing Square games. The Final Fantasy series practically ma...
Square Enix has never made a good game, ever. The only games they put out worth playing are old Square games.
SE is the bane of RPGs, where Square reigned king.
We should get an angry mob together and burn down Wada's house.
How exactly does passing on a series that doesn't interest you anymore make you a fake ass gamer?
Get over yourself, lol.
I was so excited when I found out about this game... 6 years ago...
Well, good luck getting console gamers to unite on anything. Why even bother bringing up these points? The console gamers are the ones getting reamed and they're fine with it. You're speech was in aid of nothing. It's like speaking to a wall.
I wonder what new bugs they'll create with this patch.
This happened with subpar ps3 version of Fallout 3 as well. I'll believe they've fixed it when I see my game running smoothly.
Two months to sort out this glicthy mess?
BETHESDA: PROFESSIONAL GAME DEVELOPERS
I've never seen Square Enix make a good game, and the only ones they do make that rate high are ports of old SQUARE games.
I would love to be excited for versus, but I had my hopes high for 13 and Enix shat all over them.
Maybe they should just stick to remaking good Square games, that's what seems to be keeping them afloat.
Just downloaded the patch and the floor in Windhelm looks like a pixelated mess. My 11mb save also decreased in size to around 9.
Will be deleting the patch before I save over anything.
Overrated indeed. It's a great game, no doubt there, but they should have taken more time with it.
With the amount of flaws and problems the game shipped with it should never have scored as high as it did.
Bethesda sells a buggy final product because they know they can get away with it, plain and simple.
The entire military FPS genre is played out.
I think it's awesome they're finishing up Ezio's story, and I'm sure the game is great, but they've already announced ANOTHER AC game for next year. Unless they really bring something new to the table I'm a little worried the series might become stale. They've put out a new game for the past three years and next year makes four. I say take a break and get some new ideas flowing.
What I'd really like to see them do is take the story to another t...
Reviewers should stop giving games numerical scores. They should give a factual and unbiased review and let us know if they think game is worth buying or renting.
I bet alot more people would actually read the review if there wasn't a giant number at the bottom of the page. I myself have been guilty of ignoring a review and scrolling down just to see the score.
It would be alot tougher to start a flame war over a score that doesn't exist, right?
I'm not sure how this could be funny...
I guess the word "bro" in any title is a fair warning of stupidity within.
I've been playing since Tuesday and haven't had any of these problems.
My sympathies to everyone who has to deal with this, hopefully they have a patch out ASAP.
And THAT was 10 YEARS ago.
It's so ruweened you couldn't even improve it with some Cool HWhip.
Square/Squaresoft was an amazing company who made some of the most critically acclaimed JRPGs of our time.
Square Enix hasn't made a decent JRPG. EVER.
They need to take a look at everything they've changed since the 03 merger because none of it has been for the better.
PURE. SCUM.
Open world is a term for video games where a player can move freely through a virtual world and is given considerable freedom in choosing how or when to approach objectives, as opposed to other computer games that have a more linear structure.
I'm pretty sure The Phantom Pain is the definition of an open world game.
