Something else which I think is important to consider with regard to the game's success is that League of Legends had some very big PR failings around the time Overwatch was released. This was primarily due to Riot Games announcing that they will not adding a Solo Ranked Queue, something which upset a lot of fans (as it had been "promised" to them) and caused them to move away from the game. Essentially there was a movement of fans.

That's not a good thing. They should be competing. If the drive to be successful has gone, then Nintendo is in serious trouble.
They don't have to compete in the same why that Microsoft and PlayStation do... but they do have to do something other than: "Here's a livestream of Zelda... lolz".
I'd say Nintendo won E3 2014, and they didn't have a presser then. It's a shame that they couldn't channel the hype from 2014 into substantial Wii U sales.

To be honest... I think you missed the point of the review.
If you read the review, then I'd think you'd notice that there really isn't a whole lot that Overwatch does differently from Team Fortress 2. The areas where the game does attempt to diversify itself, it falls flat on its face (as I discuss in the review).

I'm glad you agree... a lot of gaming sites have been giving it 10/10 and I honestly don't understand why. Mind you... when a website gives a game with as little content as Overwatch a 10 and has adverts for said game all over their website, well... one can only assume that it's being paid for.

I feel like it was a bit rushed.
If you check the game's metacritic then you will see the opposite of what you described.
What doesn't help the game is that on PS4 and Xbox One it suffers from very big frame-rate dips. Sure, it looks slightly prettier.. but an HD remaster shouldn't have a lower framerate than the previous gen version.
I think everyone will agree with me when I say: Why?

I couldn't agree with to you more ACETROLOGER. The response we've had to our own content has largely been misinformed and unnecessarily aggressive... I haven't seen fans act like this in a long time! It's so disappointing. If people want games to grow, then they themselves have to grow too.
According to our review, Uncharted 4 is overrated.
