I'm gonna pick this up tonight.
The demo was awesome, can't wait to play the full game.
I'm not surprised.
Anderson Cooper is probably frightened by his own shadow.
Perseus, you seem to be very emotional over this.
I'm glad that you are enjoying the demo, but it didn't live up to my expectations.
Call of Duty 4 is the best FPS I have ever played. In my opinion, it looks and sounds incredible, the gameplay is perfect and the online experience is second to none.
Every once in a while I will say "that's it, I'm sick of playing Call of Duty 4" and I will stop playing it for a few days. Then, like a crack addict...
I've been playing the demo for an hour or so.
I was really looking forward to this demo, but I must admit to being a little disappointed with it.
It's hard to explain, but I don't feel "attached" to the combat. I felt the same way while playing Frontline. It's like everything is slightly "last gen"(like the aiming, running, driving...even the graphics).
It doesn't have the polished feel that I expect from "next gen" games.
<...
Has anyone here purchased this game yet? I loved the demo and I'm wondering how everyone likes the tracks/cars that are on the full game.
I'm also wondering if anything was noticeably tweaked between the demo and the game's release.
I thought the demo was pure crap.
I'm glad that others are able to enjoy it, but I would not play this game even if it was given to me for free.
Am I the only one who is getting very irritated by the way this game is being handled?
Just release the damn demo for everyone and stop making people jump through hoops to play it! Beta keys are one thing, but this "demo key" crap is wearing on my nerves.
Seriously, enough already. This isn't Halo 4 we are talking about here, folks.
Yup, can't wait to get it.
The demo had me hooked after a few days of playing it, and I am really looking forward to driving on new tracks with different cars.
The Grid demo is awesome, but I really wish that everyone who drives the wrong way and/or parks their car in the middle of a turn would go phuck themselves.
These jerkoffs are ruining an otherwise brilliant game and it needs to be dealt with (make them invisible, please!!)
All I know is that the Grid demo is FUN!
I've been having a blast ever since it came out. It looks awesome on my Philips LCD TV and it sounds great through my 5.1 setup.
The only thing that sucks are all of the asswipes who decide that since they suck at playing the game, they will drive the wrong way and ruin it for those of us with actual skills.
Gotta make people driving the wrong way invisible, then the game will be 100% awesome.
That must suck to get motion sickness from a game.
I've never had that problem with a game, but I do get motion sickness when I'm a passenger in a moving vehicle.
I am completely addicted to this demo.
For all of those that say the handling is too sensitive, just continue to play the game and you will get used to the sensitivity. That's when the game gets really fun. You are able to go balls-out, but you know that one wrong move will send you off the track.
Also, I only use the "hood" camera, it's the best looking view (IMO) and it makes it easier to drive.
Again, an awesome game when you get used ...
I'm really digging the Grid demo on my 360. Allowing us to play the multiplayer is very cool.
Someone mentioned Sega Rally Revo, I think that game is awesome.
The graphics are beautiful, the colors and environments look amazing and the game is just plain fun to play.
In my opinion that game is VERY underappreciated and unfairly slammed by a lot of gamers.
I'm with perseus on this one. I loved COD 2, liked #3, LOVE #4 and am willing to give #5 a chance.
I don't care whether a game takes place in modern times or during the world wars, so long as it's a good game.
This demo is great.
Way too many @sswipes bumping me off my lines, though. lol
Spinouts galore.
Looks cool.
I like to play these kinds of games as a change of pace from all of the FPS that I normally play.
I'm on level 19 of Devil May Cry 4 right now, and I intend to play Ninja Gaiden II as soon as it is released.
Looks very nice, but that tiny white reticle in the Eotech is just ridiculous.
I wonder why they didn't go with the Holosight's traditional circle/dot (or at least make the dot red).
I'm anxious to see how the game will play when (if? lol) it gets released. Hopefully the gameplay will be on par with the graphics.
The demo is garbage.
If it were a piece of paper I would wipe my @ss with it.
The demo made me want to punch myself in the face.
Total garbage.
The "gameplay" is retarded and only serves to frustrate the player over and over and over again.
The movies were cool, but this game is just a mess.
I give this demo 2 middle fingers up. lol
Same here.
I played the demo a few times and was like "this is pretty good, but nothing special" but after playing it for about a week I grew to love it, to the point where I am addicted to it and feel that it is one of the best (fun!!!!) games I have ever played.
The only downside is all of the people that try and ruin the game for everyone else (driving the wrong way, parking their car in the middle of a turn... stuff like that) but there is not much that can...
