Which is a good thing
Not hard to understand why. Prices for technology has in general gone up a lot, and then on top of that you have an ongoing trade war that Trump started. 10% baseline tariff means 10% higher cost for the consumer.
I agree with him. Prices of games has actually gone down if you look at game prices during the 90s. Games are also much more expensive to make, so they have to either sell millions of copies to make a profit or have micro transactions. A 60 dollar game in 1990 would cost almost 147 dollars if we add inflation.
I agree with him, as long as we humans make better games. If AI suddenly makes far better games, I see no reason for why I shouldn’t be interested in playing them.
Just wait until trump tariffs kicks in.
They aren’t fixing shit. Stock market is also crashing today.
The fact that Trump has to go on Truth social and tweet about one of the biggest american companies doing investments in the US just shows how utterly desperate and afraid he is. But since you’re mentioning that; have you even looked at the stock market this past month?
S&P 500: - 1,93%
DJI: - 2,17%
Nasdaq: - 3,34%
Russell 2000: - 5,61%
Tesla: - 18,70%
Microsoft: - 9,02%
Google: -10,26%
Nvidia: -8,65%
You can blame Trump for this fiasco.
Maybe because an AI solution would be much more efficient and better? Emulators have a lot of problems, which can be fixed with AI.
Now I can finally play the game which to me was almost unplayable on PS4.
You know its possible to do both?
I agree, it would be stupid to buy any console just to play one game. That's why I personally bought PS5 Pro, so I can enhance every game I play. Games that to me have been "unplayable" is now playable, like FFXIV, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and Callisto Protocol to name a few.
5090 is an enthusiast product with no competition. Thats why they’re able to price it so high. You should direct your complain against their competitor AMD thats not even slightly close to make a competing card. Also, you’re crazy if you’re buying a 5090 just to game on it.
It’s an extremely bad Dragon Age game.. and a very bad RPG game. Sure, it can be entertaining if you ignore the dialogue and only focus on the combat, but the fact is that as a Dragon Age game, its shit. And it sucks at being an RPG game.
20% of PS5 sales being Pro is quite good.
15% uplift in raster performance is not bad imo. The most important thing however is the improvements it gets through DLSS and Reflex 2. Most people use DLSS when possible to boost framerates. People arguing that only raster performance is important are in denial.
Sweet baby inc is a plague that only limits the creators original vision. Tell me, why do we need them exactly?
AI rendering is the future it seems, and I’m all for it.
I’d maybe buy one if it was priced at 199 dollars. That hardware is worth less than that tbh.
