@G20Willy
Destructible yes, but in no way are you put in danger. You can just slip right behind the next cover. And I never got flanked. That's the problem. Either shitty AI or lack of good planning from ND but they never even try to surround me.
@Babadook, read what I said again, I said everything except end-game boss fights have this issue. What UC's endings were, should have been the entire game, and the boss fight itself a much better job.
The well reception of the boss fights simply shows the lack of quality of the rest of the game rather than highlights the fight itself.
Like many other shooters this game suffers from the unrealistic one-side shooter aspect. As in, you're on one side, enemies on the other. 90% of the time hiding behind an object makes you completely safe. So when they give you zombies running around and coming at you from all directions, people lose their shit at this "ground-break...
Jesus Uncharted fans are the most cancerous of any entertainment medium.
For me, Final Fantasy 12.
Or an exploration game "Uncharted"
Uncharted 1 was the nemesis of originality, its sequels carbon copies with less inspiration and ever more generic, yet they won awards. GOTYs are driven by hyoe and fanboy blindness, not quality. Not that the new TR's are impressive anyway.
Bullshit. I played FF12 first. No nostalgia whatsoever. Still my favorite open world game with the best variety and creativity, as well as design and music.
And for once the character isn't a boyband emo kid.
@Hells I mean it.
The story was somewhat cliche, the voice acting was somehow not as good (Kratos shouting cheesy lines instead of sounding normal, Pandora's cringe-worthy American accent, new VAs for Athena and Gaia, Zeus couldn't even rehearse his own lines or tone as it was in GoW2)
The story also lacked investment. We already poured our hate for Zeus at the end of 2, and now he's done nothing more (and sadly, we had the same final villain), by t...
I think they should really remake GoW3 to live up to the hype.
It felt incomplete. Severely lacking compared to what I expected. (And gigantic expectations were justified given the hype and epicness of the first two games)
Hardly. I don't know, for me, anything past GoW2/FF12 on the PS2 looks exactly the same. In fact, newer games look uglier by the year. They need to stop focusing on making the game realistic in all the "wrong places"
Wish I could say the same for the fanbase of Uncharted.
What talents?
An underwhelming shooter, with a painfully obvious linear platforming (keep tapping X) and no real puzzles.
Games like COD and UC are why videogames are gonna stay generic for a long time.
Assassin's Creed had a nice premise and a series of mediocre games. Even AC2 which people went crazy over was mostly fun because of the music, and the atmosphere. (And the pseudo-intellectual one-liners right before 'requiescat in pace')
Prince of Persia, I'm playing Sands of Time right now and oh boy, is it amazingly fun. It's really beautiful. Far more beautiful than any of the new 'omg almost CGI' BS they through at us, I'm looking at you ND...
I just wish they don't whitewash the shit out of characters like in T6, I liked how in T5 everyone spoke his native language. (or did I just not pay attention to T6?)
1. Better quests, seriously the Brotherhood line was the only one that was immersing and felt exciting.
I think the best thing is just not to make the main character the god damn Messiah or something, where all the prophecies wank him nonstop. It's cool to have me do all this stuff but it takes away from the stakes a lot. Too grand a scale and nothing feels spectacular anymore.
I felt the Dragon story itself should not have been in the story, or just a build up subplot for...
Dude Fuck FFX seriously, I'm getting sick and tired of them milking the most emo and melodramatic game again and again.
When are they remaking XII?
WHY THE FUCK A REMAKE?
GoW 1 and 2 are perfect 10s for me. GOW2 is my all time favorite game.
In my head, I sometimes imagine them redoing GOW3 with Jeff or Cory. NOT the whole series.
A whole new mythology would be more preferable.
But keep the chains!
It's not that good, guys. Jesus.
I played ME3 without playing the first 2... is that okay?
@Kryptix, just telling facts. And your comment proved it. You keep patting each other on the back whenever someone hurts your ego and tells you the game isn't good anymore (UC now goes irrelevant one weekend after release date), but yeah, my points stand still. So have at it.
