As someone who played FFX when it came out, waited and was teased by the TV commercials and fresh from playing through 7-8-9 a bunch of times, I enjoyed it. My only negative comment about it was the lack of world map. But that was in 2002.
Try going back to GTA3 now after playing GTA5. Good luck having the same view on it as you did back then.

I don't get why this is even a discussion, or why what makes sense is being down voted.
Nintendo doesn't want people to even think about hacking their hardware, using homebrew or PIRATED games from older consoles.
They would rather people not be swayed into modifying the Switch, which is primarily used to play pirated games.
