For what it's worth, there are also instances of Xbox's auto-moderation actually banning people due to the AI tool being terrible. Fallout 76 came out before Xbox rolled out their "Community Sift" artificial intelligence tool. Games older than a year or two likely aren't set up for it because it wasn't a thing yet. All signs are pointing to this censorship being an Xbox issue because other versions of Final Fantasy 14 are not subject to it and its behavior is not consistent with the game's own toggleable profanity filter.

most of the issues are coming from Microsoft.

-Microsoft has insisted on having their own special "currency" called FFXIV Coins that you have to buy and use to pay your subscription if Xbox is the only platform you have FFXIV on. The problem though is that they don't sell coins in increments to pay for just one month at a time. You have no choice but to overpay and have coins left over.

I just logged on and tested it again after reading your comments. It's still 100% happening. Try using the /psych emote on an NPC.

If by some miracle the Xbox version is not censoring things for you, then that's great. But, you'd be the exception rather than the norm.
