I'm sick to the back teeth of this crap. Both titles will have their pros and cons. In the end it comes down to personal preference. I personally enjoy enjoy CoD more-so than BF. Doesn't mean it's better, it just means its my preference.
Everytime I come onto N4G all I see ,"wah wah, the bad man said something about BF" "You started it, you said something about CoD". It's boring.
Who actually cares what other people buy/rent/play? ...
Then you my friend, are a fool. Remember there was a time when people who considered gaming a hobby, were laughed at.
*On topic*
These look pretty sweet, and I will be picking up both the Batman/Two-Face & the Robin/Joker sets. And a Riddler one if they release one.
Get this to the top news story STAT!
I've noticed that all the articles and stories about money being taken from accounts are all American, is this purely an American thing or should we UK/Euros be worried too?
I think regardless of the outcome, I will be cancelling my PSN ID and creating a new one. Keeping my trophies isn't worth the very little money I make a month.
I'm getting my copy today, won't be playing until tomorrow though. Off work for 5 days I'm going to dive in 2 feet first :)
2 of my work friends are hooked, one on PS3 and the other on PC. My friend with the PS3 copy had to be convinced before he would get it, to quote him, "I'm not paying a tenner a month to play a game!" Then I convinced to try it with the free month trial and he is absolutely hooked.
Look out for The Sapphire Squ...
I enjoyed the trial immensely. Will be purchasing the full game tonight when I get home from work. I find has the fell of CoD/SOCOM/counter Strike about it. And for the price its a good buy.
I recently traded Black Ops in, for money to go to a party but thats neither here nor there, and to be totally honest I haven't missed it as much as I thought I would.
The hardest part about weaning yourself from CoD is getting rid of it in the first place. I have done it and I was a major supporter of CoD , now I don't think I'll buy another one. Modern Combat is a decent little stop-gap while we wait on KZ3 coming out. I think its high-time gamers on the whole ...
I love the iPlayer. I use it all the time, Top Gear any time of day? Yes please!
Absolutely loved this game, one of the reasons I owned a Mega Drive. Although I do think that the sequel, World of Illusion, was far better. My cousin and I ruined many a Saturday afternoon/evening playing the co-op on that.
Good times.
Hopefully they've changed enough so it doesn't hurt my ear after 15 minutes. I really don't want to shell out £75 for a pair of Turtle Beaches.
On the plus side the sound and voice quality are top notch.
of my fondest childhood gaming memories are of Super Sonic.
And then Hyper Sonic & Hyper Knuckles. Which none of my friends believed were real. But thanks to the internet, I put egg on their faces bwahahahaha!
I'm so alone.
This is going beyond ridiculous now. This site/"journalist" is clearly putting this "article" out to grab the attention & hits. We should all endeavour to ignore tripe like this. Is it really going to make that much of a difference to your life if one console sells more than another? Or if the console you don't own "wins" the year? What does that even mean?
I'm a PS3 owner and I'm excited by Fable 3 so much so that I am buying a 2...
I don't normally wade into these pointless arguments but I feel the need to this time.
1. The launch titles are just to show off what the Move can do, having actually played it I can say that it blew my mind. I'm pretty much what you would call a "hardcore" and not a "casual" gamer. I hate labelling like that, we're all gamers. Can't we game in peace? But I digress, I'm just one man, what does my opinion matter.
And 2. ...
We alrerady had a gaming channel, X-League.tv. No-one remember that? I loved it until the soft porn and JML adverts.
I would really like a Battle Arena Toshinden remake. Just for lols you understand.
Doesn't a game have to be sold as new before it can be returned as used anyway? Or am I missing something?
I'll be the first! I think she's brilliant. The £30 I paid for the ticket to her show in Glasgow was the best £30 I've ever spent!
And I'm not gay before anyone asks...
Does it not worry anyone that 90% of that list is sequels? The games industry is going the way of Hollywood. Relying on sequels to bring in the big bucks rather than original ideas.
I hate this part of it. Hopefully EA & Dice are quick to solve this problem.
