I just hope this doesn't turn the PSN into a paid service like Live, or some kind of always connected DRM like Ubisoft
I can see Sony trying to entice us back by saying if you re-up you PSN Plus, you get to keep the items you downloaded the first time around. The betas alone have been worth it. I have been able to play games before their release date and put some significant time into them, that are longer than most new games. I have also found a few gems in the free games that I didn't think were worth my money at the time. I will re-up
The Disney Game G-force was a pretty competent game, that my kid lovse. I gave it a play through and it wasn't that bad actually.
I loved this game on Sega Cd
you really need to stand and have a gun peripheral. It proved it is 1:1 by making me sea sick.
It is pretty fun for a Wii port, graphics don't make a game for me, as long as it controls well. I knew the graphics were not great, I just wanted one Move game that wasn't sports, for my family to play. I have not been disappointed. I would not pay the full sixty that I did though, because this will drop in price pretty quickly.
Graphically it isn't very good. It is a res'ed up Wii port. It has amazing fog and sun rays but they are to hide the fact that there are hardly any trees rendered. Yes I am the author, the editor told me the reader above was asking about controls, so I thought I would give him an answer.
it works real well with the navigator and move. You move with analog stick, and you hold up your shield with l2. you use the dpad on the navigator to change weapon. you flick the move to use the sword and you pull the trigger and aim the move to use your bow
Mini Ninjas was great, it had childish graphics, but the game was fun and full of good ideas.
One thing I never seen mentioned in any of these articles, which I think could be used for a lot of different things, is the light sensors from EA Active 2.0. They shown the Kinect version being hands free, but I have a feeling it will adopt the lights as well. It also makes sense, that way they only have to worry about one control scheme, and it would be guaranteed to work. Plus the lights could be moved around and strapped to your hands, for use in all of EA sports titles. You could use the...
at least the press release sent to me seems to be. I am wondering if you straddle one move controller and ride it like a horse while you twirl the other above your head like a lasso.
you were sending yours as I was typing mine, I consider this great family time
Civ Revolutions plays fast but without all the constant clicking it is easy to lose a quick couple hours. Mini Ninjas was just fun, it was so many different styles of games.
I got my non-gaming girlfriend, to play co-op on resistance 1. It was a lot different than the Diner Dash she was used to playing. She enjoyed herself tremendously and now we have been playing R2 co-op online. I lent my copy of R1 to a friend for the same purpose and his girl his hooked as well. It is funny though because both of the girls had Chimera nightmares the first few nights.
try redownloading 600 plus rock band songs 4 times because of faulty consoles.
This battle over products isn't being fought by the consumer, but by the recipients of said product. It seems that the self pride of working hard for something has been lost and replaced by jealousy, because you are stuck with the card dealt to you. I don't understand the reasoning for the straight out hatred between them though. When I was that age and was given a car, I didn't shout down the street at the other kids saying that their car sucks. I was just happy to have wheels, a...
I loved Infamous, to me it was my game of the year. Got Protoype at a recent Gamestop sale. Protoype is fun but it doesn't have the staying power. When I put it down I can easily walk a way, but I go back. Infamous had me marathon gaming to finish it. It also seems like Activision, wanted to use their Marvel licence, but couldn't figure out a good plan, so they threw them all in a blender and Alex Mercer was born.
I have to admit as a PS3 player the '09 E3 Kinect(Natal) showing had me excited about the possibilities, but after a year of only red balls then they came out with pre-recorded show this year, and it has my 360 friends nervous. They feel MS is treating Kinect like a new console, and they are going to support the hell out of it and let the hardcore games come from third party.
I have to say this has been the most civil discussion I have ever seen on N4G.
It is by far the funnest motion game I have played, it has its issues. You need a lot of light and side to side space. It is a great work out and will kick your butt as well, but I got so immersed I did a flying kick into my GF's knee and broke my foot.
