This is fantastic news for VR as a whole, I was an early adopter to the Vive and this makes me happy, maybe we will get some big producers making some content rich lengthy games, I do prefer the Vive as its the better tech with such things as 360 degree movement and room scale, but Sony has a massive advantage of only releasing quality games due to there process of vetting out the terrible ones, unlike the Vive and Rift where a lot of stuff is partially finished or done via Steams Greenlight ...
Classic example here of someone who has no clue what they are talking about, You do realize what power and technology you would need to run 2 x 4k HMD's even 2 x FHD displays, Supersampling helps a lot on the PC for VR, I have a Vive and it makes a massive difference to the GFX, The only thing wrong with VR is the lack of good games, the big developers currently are sitting back and waiting for it to take off before investing millions into the production of a VR game, sure there are games...
100% agree with you mate, was my point also. The guy is clearly a talented player - his movement is ridiculous hahaha.
I would be more impressed if he done it with a joypad on the PC - the guy is clearly a talented FPS player no doubt, But I think that mouse and keyboard has the upper hand over joypads for obvious reasons
I'm a Vive user and trust me is a big issue if you suffer from it, I have had a Vive since the start of June and I still cant play Project Cars, worthwhile to note that I do not suffer from motion sickness at all in real life, I love roller coasters I drive a motorbike and im sold on everything land and sea. However the first time I loaded up Project Cars I played about 10 min and it made me that ill I had to actually lie down for a good half an hour until I felt batter, now over time I h...
No1 rule about trying to con people - at least make the effort to use a spell checker....
Try ALT+ENTER to toggle to fullscreen, I get this regularly and this fixes it :)
I have to say that I have everything on and up to the max and I haven't noticed any significant slow down at all I am on a 980ti and one of the top I7 procs just for reference, the game runs buttery smooth and I love it, good article thanks for this.
Good article, 100% agree
Yes!!
Compare a well established game that has had many updates and DLC's applied to it to make it better, to a game that has only just came out of closed beta and who's developers have been tight lipped about most aspects of the game.
Article of pure speculations and that's it.
100% agree and is what I was going to say, if its a game you wanted to play you would already have it I know I do, and at the bottom of that article is says "coming soon" Torchlight 2.... really how old is that now, I mean its a decent game I played it myself when it first came out but its hardly going to get people on board, In time I think this will be good for EA fans though, like exclusive access and head start to EA games like all their sports series games, and of course the bi...
It does sound like its going to be amazing, and the losing condition bar sounds interesting, Will give you a bit of a heads up to what you need to do to not get game over, something that wasn't possible in Enemy Unknown until you had logged many many hours and knew through experience, also LOVE the fact they are putting in a system to make a recruitment database that you can edit so you randomly get edited players you have entered and enemies!
Codsworth....... proof read!
The Division
What a stupid reply, who cares if you don't buy "broken" games many people do, and the reason this gets highlighted is the fact that a lot of the big titles have bugs, people don't "choose" to buy a broken game, no one knew that Diablo 3 (to name one of the many games) would have such a terrible launch due to server issues, would you call that game "broken" so much so that people all over the world got a refund, You seem to just be attacking the writing o...
You could of tethered to your mobile phone and got the data that way wouldn't have taken long, but I do see the point of this story.
I REALLY hope its not a port like the first Dark Souls (first port out of a list of many I can think of).
Loved this game soooo much!!
The guy clearly states as to why MGS has slipped through the cracks at the start of the article...
I agree with what he has said, the game is classed as "open world" but missions are clearly inside a mission area, you can choose to go out of them if you wish and fail the mission, on the flip side of that there is the free roam which is ok.
The missions are as he says very repetitive and much the same every time with the only variation being the weap...
Hey, just in case you actually want to buy a 4k HDR monitor you can! I have one from Dell and it is fantastic but you do pay for it.
