The amount of bull sh*t that comes out of the HD DVD group. If it was because of the improved features.. why did they have to pay $150 000 000.
I dislike HD DVD even more after this and i 100% agree with this BD guy.
I wouldnt have expected them to announce this with too long in advance so maybe 2.1/2.2 isnt far away :D

The PS3 SKU system in Japan is rather confusing. There are 4 available and the 40GB is cheaper than a 20GB.
Listen noobs. When its about BDs sold they include the PS3 and when its players they dont. The reason why they done this is because most PS3 owners dont buy BD movies and they make up most of the BD players.

It doesnt matter how you try, Blu-ray is winning. If it really does start going the other way, BLu-ray can just pay Universal or Warner to go BD exclusive.

When a few big movies come out, its amazing how much the sales figures change. Blu-ray still winning but this shows that its not over yet.

The 51GB HD-DVD hasnt be approved by the DVD-Forum yet.
Also the cheap PS3 is available for $399 which is great value when you consider everything else it can do plus more studios supporting BD.
All the noobs out there would dont read everything and ASSUME that 'some of the features' means ALL the new features. These maybe small but in reality they are big! :)
